Getting Started

Your first session is a clinical intake: a conversation about what brought you to therapy, your history, and your goals. I will ask questions to build a clear picture of your situation. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with. By the end, you will have a sense of how treatment works and what a plan might look like.

I offer a brief consultation call before your first session to discuss your needs and answer questions. Fit matters in therapy. If I am not the right match, I am happy to provide referrals to colleagues who might be.

Yes. I offer in-person sessions at my Sausalito office, home visits within Marin County and San Francisco, and secure video sessions for clients located in California. The format can be flexible based on your needs and preferences.
