After serving in the Marine Corps, I spent years in clinical leadership at Swords to Plowshares and Alta Mira Recovery Center. I saw what works and what doesn’t. Channel is the practice I built to do it right — unhurried, personal, and grounded in genuine understanding.
I deliberately keep my caseload small. Unhurried sessions, real availability between appointments, and care that feels personal because it is. This is private practice the way it should work.
My training spans USC, USF, and Stanford. I’ve published research on military families and lectured on co-occurring disorders and psychopharmacology. But credentials without empathy are just letters on a wall. Every session is grounded in both evidence and genuine human connection.

Channel is located at One Harbor Drive in Sausalito, just across the Golden Gate from San Francisco. The office overlooks Richardson Bay and is easily accessible from Highway 101.
